For the first time this summer there were traffic jams towards the North Sea beach, reports the Brabants Dagblad today.
But not everyone stayed in the car for a couple of hours to cool down. It was "pleasantly crowded" on the beach by the swimming pool at the campsite Biesbosch Marina Drimmelen. Children enjoyed playing on the beach and cooling off in the water while others relaxed and sunbathed.
Nearby Drimmelen harbour also had plenty of activity with people enjoying the sun on their boats.
